So this used to be the Cancun Mexican Restaurant, in which was bought out. New Owners, and I must say, I enjoyed the food much more. The staff was courteous & kind. My lunch was excellent, stop in and try this place for lunch! 08/29/23 had lunch here again today, still impressed with their food, really good! 01/23/25- the staff and service is still 100% the arroz con Pollo with chorizo is very good!
Glowing smiles, family-oriented, high standards for customer service. I tell you this is the place to be every weekend or any night of the week! I went recently after seeing their beautiful red and white sign which caught my attention on 86th street. It was bright and welcoming just like the family that it represents. I ordered tamales with rice and beans, a raspberry margarita that was out of this world. Everything they serve packs a full zest of flavor. Absolutely amazing!! I have dined there 4 times since I found out about them a few weeks ago. Great job!!! It is truly like family when you enter. Keep it up!!! Amazing service & delicious food! I (annoyingly) have a bell pepper allergy so it makes eating out sometimes difficult. The staff at Somos were so kind and accommodating during our recent take out order! We will 100% be ordering again & again!
Food was delicious, very reasonably priced and excellent service. Margaritas were huge and so tasty. Will definitely be returning!
Best Mexican food I've had in a whiiiiiiile. Esquites were absolutely amazing. Arroz con pollo is my favorite dish and theirs is excellent. Great warm fresh tortilla chips, and the salsa was good too. All around great meal! Margaritas were good but nothing particularly special. And I very much enjoyed the atmosphere.
I googled vegetarian Mexican food, and this was the first result. And I'm so glad. They had SEVERAL vegetarian options, the food was so good and the portions were so generous I had to bring half of it home. Our waitress was so kind, despite my abysmal Spanish. Really glad we decided to try this place.
This place is very vibrant and welcoming. I truly enjoy their Queso Birria Tacos and watermelon Margarita. Their happy house specials are very family and adult friendly. Service is always amazing and I have a great time every visit.
I came here for my nephews birthday Dinner and it was amazing from start to finish. It was about 16 of us and they handled our large party quite well. The food was amazing , the service was great, Juan definitely handled us with care and continuously made sure we were ok. Thank you for everything. Not to mention the aesthetics of the restaurant was beautiful for pics. My food was great and so was my margarita. I will definitely be back !
